Our festival is back, bigger & better than ever for 2026! 2 full days of the best local live music, food & drinks stalls, and family friendly fun.
We’re excited to announce that the massively popular local funk, pop & soul band “Joey the Lips” will headline the Saturday evening, 6pm until 8pm!

As well as the best live music and locally crafted food and drinks, we’re also adding more family friendly stalls and activities this year, including; face painting, hair braiding, festival glitter, handmade toys, Westcountry ice creams and a local bakery.
Debbie and her amazing team of fundraising volunteers have collected over £15,000 at our events in the last 5 years. Last year Greasy and the crew of the All Weather Lifeboat joined Debbie onstage to present the raffle prizes. Our local lifesaving heroes will be joining us again this year!
This year as we have an extra day, we’re hoping to help them raise even more! Gain entrance to the festival by making a donation of your choice to the RNLI.
To get a feel for what a joyous and inclusive event this is, why not watch this brilliant video of last years event, produced by local filmmaker, John Tomkins.
For one weekend the Banjo, Princess Gardens, becomes a mini festival village with outdoor bars, a BBQ, Hog Roast, Seafood Paella & a Vegan Kitchen!
Offshore & Bays Fest started life back in 2013 as a one-day charity event, built on a simple idea — celebrate the very best of our local music, food and drink, while raising money for lifesaving causes.
Set against the stunning harbourside outside Offshore Bar & Restaurant, the festival grew year on year, gaining an incredible following of locals and visitors alike. After an unforgettable turnout in 2024, Torbay Council gave us the green light to take things to the next level…
In 2025, we moved around the corner to the Banjo at Princess Gardens — and it was a game changer. With more space came a bigger stage, bigger bars, more local food traders, and the amazing community spirit came with us.

Please make use of the many amazing independent hotels, B&Bs and other great local businesses within walking distance of the seafront.

Please note, parking is limited around the harbour and marina, so if you live locally please consider public transport or walk. There are taxi ranks and bus stops nearby. Please do not bring drinks / picnics onto the site as if you do so, security will need to look after it for you until you leave.
It all started back in April 2012, when Offshore owner Brett Morton turned to Bays Brewery’s Peter Salmon and said, “How about we do a charity music and beer festival outside Offshore, on Torquay harbour?”
The first attempt… didn’t exactly go to plan.
After some serious under-promotion, the day ended with Pete handing out free beer samples, trying to persuade passers-by to come in. Safe to say, they were ready to throw in the towel.
But Brett wasn’t done.
After licking his wounds, he pushed ahead with year two — and in 2013, Offshore & Bays Fest was truly born. A stage on the harbour, the best local musicians, an outdoor bar pouring top local beer and cider… all in the sunshine, raising money for a great cause.
This time, the community showed up in force.
And from that point on, Offshore & Bays Fest became a fixture on the Torquay calendar.

By 2015, things stepped up another level. Offshore had expanded, meaning more space and more people, and Bays Brewery chose the festival to launch their new craft lager, Devon Rock. A big moment.
Then in 2016, Richard Hunt of Hunt’s Cider joined the party, launching Andsome Bay — now a firm local favourite. His support over the years has been huge… and it’s fair to say he pours a better pint than Pete.
From there, not even a pandemic could stop the momentum building.
By 2024, the festival had become something special — an incredible day that raised over £1,500 for the RNLI. But it was clear: if the event was going to keep growing, the location on the harbourside had reached its limit.
The result? A move to the Banjo at Princess Gardens in 2025 — and the biggest, best Offshore & Bays Fest yet. A huge success, and the start of a brand new chapter.
And as for Brett & Pete… well, they’ve shared plenty of moments along the way — including a few questionable selfies (one from Pete’s stag do included). Enjoy!
